CEREC Crowns in Brentwood, TN
If a tooth is too weak or damaged for us to repair it with a simple filling, a dental crown is usually needed to restore the tooth so it can function properly again.
At Sullivan Dental Partners, we make it a point to utilize updated technology that benefits you by delivering the most efficient and comfortable dental experience possible.
CEREC Same-Day Crowns
At Sullivan Dental Partners, we’re pleased to offer our patients the convenience of state-of-the-art CEREC same-day crowns. Technology like CEREC same-day crowns makes it possible for us to help you to get in, get your treatment, then get on with your busy life.
The process for creating CEREC crowns is really kind of fascinating. First, the tooth is shaped to prepare it and make sure your new crown fits perfectly. We then tale images of the tooth, which are input into a computer program. Using these images, we can view a model of your tooth and construct your new crown.
While you wait, your new CEREC crown will be fabricated out of porcelain, a durable, stain-resistant material. We want your new crown to blend perfectly with your smile, so we’ll work with you to make sure that the shade of your new crown closely matches your surrounding natural teeth. The final step is to adjust the crown so that it fits your bite perfectly, polish the crown, and bond it securely to your tooth.
Traditional Dental Crowns
Unlike CEREC crowns that are fabricated right here in our Brentwood office, a traditional dental crown is made at a dental lab. Using your unique tooth impression, the dental lab technician can assess all the aspects of the movement of your jaw and dental bite. Your new crown is then sculpted specifically for you, ensuring that your bite functions normally once the crown is permanently placed.
The process for creating traditional crowns takes a longer than CEREC crowns because we have to send the impressions to an outside dental lab for fabrication. Since we want you to be thrilled with the results, we use only the highest quality dental labs in the US to create your restoration. Whichever type of crown you choose, we can assure you that you will be thrilled with the results every time.
Please Call to Arrange a Consultation
We know that a dental restoration like a crown is a big investment. Many insurance plans do cover a portion of the cost of CEREC crowns, and we'll be happy to assist you in filing your claim to ensure you receive the maximum benefit you are entitled to. Please call our Brentwood dental office to arrange a convenient consultation with one of our doctors. At that time, we can discuss both options and decide which is most appropriate for you.
