Dr. Sullivan
Dr. Rick Sullivan, a third generation dentist in the
Brentwood area of Nashville, Tennessee, has practiced
dentistry since 1988. He graduated with honors from
the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in
1988 and was the salutatorian of his class. Dr. Sullivan
received the Senior Student Award, presented by the
Academy of General Dentistry, and the Dr. William S.
Kramer Award of Excellence, presented by the elite,
national dental honorary society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
He was also an active member of the Dean Society at
the University of Tennessee’s College of Dentistry
and Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
Dr. Sullivan’s leadership and commitment as a
dentist in Brentwood Tennessee are evident through his
involvement in national and local professional organizations.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee
Dental Association, and the Nashville Dental Society.
He is also an active member of the Middle Tennessee
Implant Users Study Club, the Middle Tennessee Academy
of Implant Dentistry, and a fellow of the International
Congress of Oral Implantologists. Because Dr. Sullivan
is so respected by his colleagues, he is frequently
invited to speak at community meetings.
Staying at the forefront of his field has always been
a high priority for Dr. Sullivan. He frequently attends
continuing education courses to stay abreast of the
latest dental advancements. He has completed more than
600 hours of continuing education courses, enough hours
for fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.
Because of his dedication, Dr. Sullivan has received
the Tennessee Dental Association’s ACE award for
continuing education. His staff also attends several
national and local continuing education courses throughout
the year.
Dr. Sullivan lives in Brentwood, Tennessee with his
wife, Linda, and their two children, Richard and Emily.
His hobbies include water skiing, boating, and competing
in triathlons. He is a member of Christ Presbyterian
Church. A charter member of the Brentwood Working Rotary
Club, Dr. Sullivan has visited Guatemala during the
summers of 1995 and 1996. During these times, Dr. Sullivan
treated several hundred people who were not fortunate
enough to have received dental care. |
