Dr. Sarah Pierce

I am from Jackson, TN. I received my bachelor’s degree at the University of Mississippi where I studied Biology, Chemistry, and Spanish. During my undergraduate years at Ole Miss, I decided to pursue a career in dentistry. I was interested in this path for my life because I had always loved science and art and desired a profession that allowed me to serve other people.

Once I graduated from Ole Miss, I went directly to the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry where I obtained my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. I come from a family heavily involved in healthcare, which originated with my grandfather’s passion for dentistry. I take pride in being the fifth Dr. Pierce in my family, all graduated from the same institution in Memphis, TN.

Each person in my family has shaped me into who I am as a person and dentist. I strive to treat each patient with a combination of qualities I have learned from my family as well as my own unique skill set.

My grandfather, Dr. Bill Pierce, practiced three years in the Navy followed by 33 years of private practice in Dyersburg, TN. Through him, I was able to see first-hand how dentistry gives a special opportunity to form life-long connections with patients. Some of my patients have known him which always gave me confidence that this was the right career choice for me. He was good friends with the Sullivans, which years later resulted in my connection with Dr. Rick and Dr. Sully. This career choice has intertwined my grandfather’s history and my future to make a lasting impact with leading dentists in Nashville. It has truly been an honor to continue his legacy in such an amazing practice with the Sullivan Dental Partner family. Each team member at Sullivan Dental Partners plays a vital role in providing optimal oral healthcare as well as transforming beautiful smiles.

A special advantage to this group practice is the collaborative approach we utilize to provide excellent comprehensive dental care. I have trained extensively in all aspects of dentistry and take immense pride in helping people from all walks of life achieve their dental goals. Whether helping a patient gain the confidence to smile again or helping someone sleep better at night by removing a constant source of pain, I would be honored to be your provider.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling and spending time with friends and family. Two of my favorite places to go are Pickwick Lake and Oxford, MS. I also enjoy reading and workout classes like Yoga and Pilates.
